Growing up on a dairy farm, participating in 4-H and working at the family business, Donna knows the value of hard work, listening to neighbors, and getting things done.
Donna cares about Johnson County and is ready to bring conservative, common-sense accountability to the Board of Supervisors.
ABOUT DONNA:
Donna attended Roosevelt Elementary School and graduated from Iowa City West. She received her B.S. in Business Administration and an Elementary Education certificate from the University of Iowa.
Dane's Dairy remained in the Dane family for over 60 years. With a staff of 20 employees, Donna managed the business for nearly 30 years and owned it for 14 years. Donna gained extensive experience in business operations, customer service, financial management and community leadership. She is currently retired.
Agricultural & Community Experience
Donna has over 50 years of agriculture and business experience, and her deep agricultural roots are evident in her decades of involvement with 4-H and the Heritage Barn at the county fair, where she helped teach children about agriculture and animal care through the petting zoo.
Dairy Store Management
As a retired business owner and farmer, Donna looks forward to serving the community with common-sense leadership and a focus on local families, farms, and small businesses.
